Private by default
SomSpeech is designed to keep the writing workflow simple and transparent. Text is processed only when you choose to generate audio, and local generation history stays in your browser.
What is processed
The text you enter, selected voice, speed, and pitch are sent for generation only after you press Generate Audio. Avoid submitting confidential or sensitive text that should not be processed to create audio.
Local history
Recent clips are stored in your browser so you can replay or delete them locally. SomSpeech does not require an account, payment details, or a profile to use the public studio. Clearing browser storage also removes local history.
Operational data
Hosting systems may process ordinary technical data such as IP address, request time, and browser details. This helps deliver the page, generate audio, and troubleshoot failures.
Cookies and advertising
SomSpeech uses a basic site session cookie to keep normal website requests separate from unsupported automated access. The studio can run without advertising cookies. If Google AdSense is added, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to SomSpeech or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to sites across the internet. Visitors can review Google ad controls at Google Ads Settings and may also review broader opt-out options at aboutads.info.
Third-party services
SomSpeech may rely on hosting, security, audio generation, communication, and future advertising services to operate the site. These services may process limited technical data needed to deliver the website, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, or provide advertising only after advertising is enabled.
